How I Decide What Lash Style Fits Your Face Shape

One of the biggest misconceptions about eyelash extensions is this:
“Just give me what looks good on Instagram.”
What looks amazing on one person can look heavy, droopy, or unbalanced on another.
When clients come to TD Beauty Spa, I don’t just look at their lashes — I study their entire face structure.
Step 1: Eye Shape Matters More Than Trend
Different eye shapes require different mapping:
Round eyes – Need elongation
Almond eyes – Most versatile
Hooded eyes – Need lift in the center
Downturned eyes – Avoid heavy outer corners
Close-set eyes – Focus length toward the outer third
Cat-eye is popular — but it doesn’t flatter everyone.
In fact, I often soften or adjust the mapping to create lift rather than drag.
Step 2: Lash Density & Natural Strength
Not every lash can safely hold volume fans.
If your natural lashes are:
- Fine
- Sparse
- Fragile
Then mega volume may cause premature shedding.
Sometimes classic or wet set gives a more elegant result while protecting natural lashes.
Healthy retention > dramatic overload.
Step 3: Your Lifestyle
Are you:
- A busy mom?
- In corporate?
- A student?
- In glam events often?
Your lifestyle influences:
- Length choice
- Curl type
- Fill frequency
I design lashes to work for your daily life — not just the first day photos.
My Goal Every Time
When someone leaves our studio, I want them to hear:
“You look different… but I can’t tell what changed.”
That’s facial harmony.
Not just lashes.
But balance.
